The Trump Administration’s Absurd ‘Terrorist’ Labeling of a Small Russian Group

Historian Mark Weber joins host James Edwards and co-host Keith Alexander in this May 2020 session of “The Political Cesspool” radio show. Weber talks about the US government’s recent designation of a small Russian monarchist and Christian group as a “white supremacist” and “terrorist” organization. While it’s not very important in itself, he says, this absurd and hypocritical move underscores the ease and frequency with which the Trump administration – and the US government generally – play fast and loose with facts and truth. It’s yet another symptom of the deep-rooted illness of modern American political life.
