Donations to the IHR are tax deductible. That’s because the IHR, along with its parent corporation “Legion for the Survival for Freedom,” is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public interest educational enterprise. (Federal ID tax number: 74-1538110.)
A copy of the IRS letter confirming this status is available from the IHR upon request. This status can also be confirmed on the IRS website listing of non profit/tax exempt organizations by entering the relevant information. It’s also confirmed on the authoritative online “GuideStar” listing of non-profit organizations.
IHR/ LSF is governed by a responsible board of directors. As a 501(c)(3) entity, its budget is public.
The IHR respects your privacy. Your online donation transaction is encrypted so your confidential information is secure. Information provided by donors and customers is never sold, rented, exchanged or similarly disclosed to any outside person or entity.
Please also consider a bequest to the IHR in your will. Your thoughtfulness now will help to keep the IHR fighting for truth and freedom for years to come.
Your donation to the Institute for Historical Review is a cost-effective weapon in the global struggle for truth, freedom and peace.
Our effectiveness depends on voluntary contributions of concerned men and women. Your gift or bequest to the IHR helps to ensure that the Institute has a solid foundation from which to combat historical deceit and bigotry, defend freedom of speech and inquiry, and educate more people for a more just, sane and peaceful future.
The IHR is the only history research and publishing center in America that boldly and conscientiously identifies the enemies of freedom and peace, educating the thoughtful public with solidly referenced books, articles, and video and audio recordings.
Week after week, we reach activists, students, educators and opinion-makers with solid information and sound perspective on World War II, American history, the Israel-Palestine conflict, the Zionist push for war, the ongoing turmoil in the Middle East, Third Reich Germany, Soviet Communism, Holocaust propaganda, the Jewish-Zionist hold on our cultural and political life, and much more.
We can never hope to match our adversaries dollar for dollar, but we are able to reach a large, global audience, bypassing the media masters who try to control what we see and hear.
Through our media work, we regularly reach many hundreds of thousands of listeners and viewers in the US and overseas. This has included interviews on numerous American radio talk shows, and on major overseas outlets, including the BBC and Radio Netherlands, as well as guest appearances on the “Hannity and Colmes” television show (broadcast nationwide on the Fox News network), and on Sean Hannity’s radio show (broadcast on the ABC network).
Viewership of our website – ihr.org – remains impressively strong, reaching many more people than the sites of much larger and better funded organizations.
Our website’s home page is regularly updated with selected news and comment items, and periodic reports on the Institute’s work and impact. It is also a gateway to our immense library and archive, which serves as a great learning center, globally informing and educating people.
Month after month, year after year, we distribute large quantities of books, DVDs, CDs, leaflets, and other items – a record unmatched by any similar center or association.
IHR items are routinely distributed online — not only by us, but by many others as well — to countless thousands around the world, or are posted on other websites, including in translation in other languages — reaching decision-makers, journalists, activists and educators across the US and around the world.
Posted in our site’s “Audio” section are a few of our many podcasts, talks and broadcast interviews.
Numerous IHR video presentations have been viewed on-line by many thousands. Clips of IHR presentations have also been broadcast on national television on the “60 Minutes” and “Hannity and Colmes” shows.
Our “IHR News & Comment” e-mail service continues to grow, attracting ever more subscribers who appreciate our thoughtful roundups of news, analysis and commentary. (To subscribe to this free service, drop a line to news@ihr.org)
