The Journal of Historical Review (ISSN: 0195-6752) was published by the Institute for Historical Review for more than 20 years. The first issue was dated Spring 1980, and the final one was dated May-August 2002. Altogether 96 issues were published. Publication was suspended due to a shortage of money and staff, and will resume when circumstances permit.

The Journal of Historical Review, like the IHR, sought to uphold and continue the tradition of historical revisionism of scholars such as Harry Elmer Barnes, William H. Chamberlin, James J. Martin, Paul Rassinier, Charles Tansill and A.J.P. Taylor.
