Beirut Revisionist Conference

Beirut Conference

Registration Information

Everyone who wishes to attend the Beirut "Revisionism and Zionism" conference -- March 31 through April 3 -- must register with the IHR by February 28. Registration is required for security reasons. He must provide his full name, date and place of birth, and a photocopy of the data page from his passport (including photo and passport number). He should also briefly explain in writing his interest in attending the conference and, if possible, the name of someone who can vouch for his good faith.

There is no registration or attendance fee.

After March 24, each attendee will be provided a telephone number in Beirut, which will also be posted on the IHR web site. Attendees should arrive in the Lebanese capital by March 30 at the latest. After arriving, each attendee must call the special telephone number for information about the precise location of the conference. (In most cases this call should be made from the Beirut airport.)

Visitors arriving in Lebanon with passports containing an Israeli visa or entry/exit stamp will not be admitted into the country.

Journalists are welcome. In addition to the information required of all attendees, they must provide information about their employer.

Transportation from the airport to the conference site will be provided for speakers. Attendees can easily get to the conference site by taxi.

Each conference speaker should purchase his or her own (tourist class) round trip air ticket to Beirut international airport. He will be reimbursed for the cost of the flight by organizers at the conference site. Hotel lodging for conference speakers will, of course, be arranged and paid for by the organizers.

Each English-language speaker should send a copy of his speech, both in hard copy and in electronic form, to the IHR by February 28.
